Mandating Influenza Vaccine for Health Care Workers Debate

We can't think of vaccines without thinking of a patient's rights and if it's ethical to force a person to receive them. This project, we took the stances, that as nurses, we are exposed to many diseases, and are trained to properly avoid contact and exposure to these diseases. This debate, although, you can't appreciate it in document form, was a passionate debate on the ethical infringement of the health care workers rights and over their own bodies. We advocate for our patients and accept their decisions of refusal of treatments, however, our medical staff doesn't have the same rights. We stated that we should grant our own health workers the same choice, and follow the nonmaleficence to our own who chose to not partake.
